This bride and groom both grew up in the small town South Carolina town of Clinton. They attended the same high school, and officially met in their church’s youth group. The bride notes that they never dated, but she always had a crush on Stefan. They went separate ways after high school, her going to St Louis for nursing school and him to Presbyterian College. They ran into each other again 7 years after graduation at their local YMCA. He asked her to watch a Carolina game together, and rest is history.
Stefan proposed on a cold morning in January, using their dog Bruno’s tag to “pop the question,” as it read “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”. Caylen had been dreaming about her wedding day ever since, and it did not disappoint. From the boiled peanut appetizers to the grits side option, this southern wedding was full of things all the guests love to love!
Bruno, their frenchie, again made an appearance as the ring bearer! After the ceremony, guests danced the night away at the lovely Seibels House and Garden in historic Columbia, SC. The DJ, Jason, was perfection, and the party never stopped! As all good things come to an end, Caylen & Stefan exited through a beautiful sparkler filled tunnel and drove away in a vintage getaway car. Sharing some of my personal picks from their day!
